Tamira M. Moon is a health equity strategist and socialpreneur who champions both health equity and philanthropy by paying it forward through impactful work. As the Founder and CEO of To the Moon & Back Foundation Inc., Tamira leads the non-profit to achieve its vision of changing communities through the power of giving by implementing initiatives focused on education, health and community engagement. Tamira is excited to lead as the Director of Health Equity & Diversity Initiatives with the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO). Tamira is devoted to causes that elevate her community including mentoring the next generation of public health leaders. A proud native of  Lorain, Ohio, Tamira is a two-time graduate of The Ohio State University earning a B.S. in Early Childhood Development and Master of Public Health.
